The Rev. Myriam Renaud, a UU minister and Ph.D. candidate in theology at the University of Chicago Divinity School, has been appointed a Lecturer at Meadville Lombard Theological School for 2012–13. Born in California but raised in France, Renaud learned English by immersion when her family moved to Missouri when she was ten. That same year, her family began attending a UU congregation. Prior to her ordination, she worked as a software engineer. She served as minister of the UU Congregation of Rock Valley in Rockton, Illinois, in 2006.
