After a self-described “concerned Alberta mother” created an anti-trans rap video that urged people to “stand up, stand up, people of grace” and “speak up for children,” Canadian Unitarian Anthony James put out a call for Unitarians to speak up in support of transgender children and the right of everyone to self-determine the appropriate bathroom to use. With the assistance of his mother, Liz James, Anthony produced a seven-minute video with soundtrack by Emma’s Revolution and images of support from individuals and Unitarian congregations across Canada.
