Cornel West, a professor a philosophy and Christian practice at Union Theological Seminary, is the author of Black Prophetic Fire (Beacon Press, 2014) and many other books. He is the editor of The Radical King by Martin Luther King Jr. (Beacon Press, 2015). West will be the 2015 Ware Lecturer at the UUA General Assembly in Portland, Oregon, in June.
