Unitarian Universalists in Pennsylvania and the surrounding region have joined 100 immigrant women who are marching 100 miles to Washington, D.C., for Pope Francis’s visit. Community radio launched at Georgia congregation

The Rev. Amy Carol Webb, a Unitarian Universalist minister and songwriter of the anthem “Stand!” is called “the pure voice of Florida’s environment” in a recent interview. UUs lead in local religious response to climate change

In Pennsylvania, Unitarian Universalists are leading the local religious response to climate change. The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Centre County is noted for its Green Sanctuary program, and UU minister the Rev. LGBTQ fetish star visits UU minister in Uganda

With a wish to use his notoriety as Mr. Los Angeles Leather 2015 to do good, Patrick Smith recently visited the African nation of Uganda to connect with LGBTQ activists there and bring attention to their important work. Smith met with the Rev. Mark Kiyimba and was impressed by his brave work speaking out for a religious welcome of LGBTQ people in Uganda. (The Advocate – 9.15.15)
